I have the power over my emotions. I have power over the way I feel. Son,
No one! And I mean no one can make you feel anything you don’t want to feel. People only have power over your emotions if you let them. YOU have power over your happiness, your smile, your peace, your future! Your emotions belong to you and IF you decide to share them then that’s fine. But, they are yours for sharing. No one has the authority to control the way you feel.
You must know that you have power. There is a power within you that you must turn on and be used for your good and to better the world. Emotions are a beautiful thing because they make us human and help form our identity. Emotions are natural and some are leaned. But the truth is that you must learn to gain control of your emotions, or they will control you.
Love and/or fear usually drives our emotions. Make sure that love, NOT fear, drive yours. Just like you love those racing games, remember that you are the driver and you control the car. Other drivers on the road may crash and bump into you but they can never have full control over your car. They can’t come sit in the driver seat unless you get out and let them in. Same thing goes for your emotions. You are the driver and you steer your life in the direction you want. Yes, some people may come and bump and crash into you, but you have overall control and must continue down the road to reach the finish line.
