In life we will always be faced with moments where there is a mis-understanding and times where we are simply mis-understood. Unfortunately, we live in a perception is reality world where mis-understandings turn into mis-truths and mis-realities.
You don’t have to buy into this mentality. Just because you are mis-understood doesn’t mean that you’re necessarily wrong or need to change. Maybe the individuals with the mis-understanding need to change.
Start each day by giving people the benefit of the doubt, this will minimize mis-understandings. Pray that others will do the same. Start each day by embracing the fact that It’s Okay To Be Mis-understood. Throughout history, some of the greatest leaders and world changers were mis-understood.
“To be great is to be mis-understood.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
Remember the highway to understanding is a two-way street that was paved by the mis-understood.
I think this post may be confusing… or maybe I’m just mis-understood.
It’s Okay To Be Mis-Understood
